This is a driving post. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying identification, issuing credentials when appropriate, and documenting entry and exit activity at a government location.
  • Monitor entry points, screen authorized personnel and/or deliveries, and help to deter unauthorized access by applying post orders, visitor management protocols, and other security-related procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, notify the appropriate contacts, and complete clear, timely reports on security-related events.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observe for suspicious activity or policy violations, and report maintenance, access, and/or security-related concerns to site leadership.
