As a Security Officer Credential Check Driver in Mc Intosh, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and stay visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, monitoring access points, and/or supporting emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Control entry and exit for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries by verifying credentials, issuing passes, maintaining visitor logs, and reporting irregularities through appropriate channels.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and site protocols for restricted and sensitive areas.
  • Monitor gates, lobbies, control rooms, and/or other designated access points to help support authorized movement of people, vehicles, and materials throughout the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions, access control concerns, and other security-related matters, and documenting findings as needed.
