About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Driver to support a healthcare location in Foster City, California. The role safeguards clients and supports patients, visitors, and staff through security procedures, access monitoring, patrols, emergency response, and clear communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. The schedule is Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $28.50 per hour. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor access to healthcare and laboratory-related areas according to site protocols, verify credentials, and direct authorized visitors.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations and shift-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
