As a Security Officer Driver Vehicle Patrol in Nottingham, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post where strong customer service and communication support daily interactions. Requirements

  • Security experience of at least 6 months is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, property concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and building activity, verify authorized entry when required, and provide clear directions or assistance to guests, vendors, and/or delivery personnel.
  • Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by observing conditions, reporting maintenance or life-threatening concerns, and communicating professionally with tenants, visitors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
