As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post may include mobile patrol responsibilities, customer service, and clear communication with staff and visitors. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor foot traffic, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance issues according to post instructions.
Assist with closing procedures, alarm-related responses, and/or de-escalation support during customer service issues while following Allied Universal standards and site guidelines.
