As a Security Officer Driver Screening in Bay Minette, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support access control, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements, while working with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and care.

Requirements

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
  • Report hazards, equipment concerns, policy violations, and other security-related observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
