As a Security Officer Driver Screening Agent in McDonough, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Screener in a retail location, you will help support daily screening activities, monitor assigned areas, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under Allied Universal driver policy. You will also deliver strong customer service and clear communication while reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Screen team members, visitors, packages, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures and access requirements.
• Monitor entry points and help to identify unusual activity, prohibited items, and/or policy concerns, then report findings to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document security-related events as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
