As a Security Officer Driver Screening in McDonough, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a retail location, where you will help monitor entry activity, support screening procedures, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will also deliver exceptional customer service and communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and grounded in integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
  • Screen visitors, employees, and/or deliveries at designated entry points by verifying credentials, checking permitted items, and reporting irregular activity through proper channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support security-related procedures and guide guests in a professional manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining aware of store activity, customer concerns, and/or unusual conditions.
