Join Allied Universal at a healthcare location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity from a stationary post, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific policies, screening procedures, and other security-related protocols appropriate for a healthcare location.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity, greet patients, visitors, and staff, verify identification and/or access permissions, and help to direct people according to location procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Document visitor activity, unusual events, and security-related concerns, and complete required reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Support a professional front desk presence by answering questions, managing incoming calls and/or inquiries, and helping to maintain orderly access to the location.
