About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Driver Patrol in Springfield, Missouri, serving a utilities location. The role involves driving patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service and communication. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. The position pays $16.21 per hour and is scheduled Wednesday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, and Saturday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and utility customers by following security procedures and site-specific policies and conducting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, service calls, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to restricted utility operations areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required logs and documentation.
Report hazards, damaged equipment, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
