As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol - Full Time in Amana, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk professional in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor cameras and alarms, and support daily security-related operations. This is a driving post. You will help to create a professional presence through strong communication, attention to detail, and customer service, while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture built on teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor access at the front desk by greeting employees, visitors, and contractors, verifying identification and/or visitor records, and directing arrivals according to location procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Complete logs, visitor documentation, and other assigned reports related to access control, deliveries, and front desk activity in a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and support a professional environment by remaining present at the front desk and following Allied Universal and location-specific security-related policies.
