This role is for a full-time Security Officer - Driver Patrol in Fox Lake, IL, where the officer will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage. The position involves working as an unarmed patrol officer at a food and beverage location, conducting routine patrols, maintaining visibility to deter security incidents, and providing excellent customer service and communication. It is a driving post that requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal's driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or supervisors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and provide clear directions and assistance to residents, guests, vendors, and/or staff.
  • Observe for potential hazards, maintenance issues, and unusual conditions across the location, and communicate findings in accordance with post procedures.
