About The Position
As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and appropriate reporting protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with screening and credential checks as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to site leadership.
- Document incidents, observations, and/or security-related concerns in written reports and communicate relevant information with supervisors, employees, and public personnel as needed.
