As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol - Full Time in Amana, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and a team-focused approach rooted in integrity, reliability, and innovation.

Requirements

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and help verify that entry and exit activity aligns with site policies for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and/or vendors.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance or operational concerns, and communicate observations with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
