Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech and media location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies within a technology and communications location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify concerns and support security-related operations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas for unauthorized activity, and document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance-related issues according to site guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations, directing foot traffic, and relaying information to supervisors and/or first responders.
