About The Position

As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol in Muscatine, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Allied Universal officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas through a primarily driving post, staying visible to help reduce security-related incidents while supporting daily operations. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or patients by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that need attention.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor movement, verifying credentials when required, and reporting security-related issues according to post orders.
  • Support a professional environment by giving directions, addressing routine questions, and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations through proper channels.
