About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Response in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, production spaces, loading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report access concerns or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support day-to-day operations by completing incident reports, maintaining detailed activity logs, and providing clear updates during shift changes and/or when requested by Allied Universal management.
