About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Operations in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic government transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agencies as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contact.
  • Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and support Allied Universal and site leadership with requested information related to security-related events.
