About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a busy government transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist riders, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 or more years of security-related experience is required.
  • The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout transit-related locations, public access areas, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter zones to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned government location areas, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to site contacts.
  • Support order at the location by assisting with directional information, crowd management, and incident response during routine operations and/or service disruptions.
