As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol - Mornings in Waterloo, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related events.
