About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Detail in Sauget, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Valid Driver's License for 1+ Years Required

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related issues.
  • Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for employees, contractors, and/or visitors in accordance with site protocols, while maintaining awareness of restricted and controlled areas.
  • Support incident reporting, communication, and follow-up tasks, including preparing clear activity logs and relaying important information during shift changes and/or emergency situations.
