Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible security-related presence, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will help identify and report site concerns while delivering service with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related duties appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and assist with traffic, visitor, and/or contractor movement in accordance with location policies.
• Support emergency response activities by following post orders, communicating clearly with site contacts and/or first responders, and helping occupants follow site instructions during alarms or other incidents.
