Requirements

  • Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, assisting visitors, and supporting security-related protocols for a financial institution location.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting employees, visitors, and vendors, verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and documenting arrivals and departures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, manage inquiries, and maintain accurate front desk logs, reports, and other required documentation related to security-related activities.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions by observing lobby activity, reporting unusual behavior, and following post orders and emergency response guidelines.
