Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining entry logs, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports related to access activity, incidents, visitor management, and other security-related observations.
