As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Entry Verification in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and personnel, and support security-related operations through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and follow established procedures for restricted-area access.
Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, operational areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Complete accurate reports, logs, and required documentation related to visitor activity, incidents, patrols, and security-related concerns.
