As a Security Officer Driver Entry Authorization in Ladson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. You will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, support visitor processing, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, badge verification requirements, and/or emergency response activities at an automotive location.
Monitor entry and exit points for people, vehicles, and deliveries, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting security-related protocols for restricted areas.
Verify credentials, maintain visitor and vendor logs, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding access requests, incidents, and/or policy questions.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and escalating security-related concerns when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting potential issues and reporting conditions that may impact daily operations.
