As a Security Officer Driver Desk Operations in MORRIS PLAINS, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Professional at a government location, where you will greet visitors, monitor access activity, and support daily security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, and following visitor management protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Answer phones, assist with directions and general inquiries, and document security-related events, visitor activity, and/or incidents in required logs and reports.
