About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Credential Officer in Baldwinsville, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, helping manage site entry, verify credentials, and support a smooth, professional visitor experience. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver trusted customer service with agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, screening visitors, vendors, and/or contractors, and responding to security-related concerns in a professional manner.
  • Monitor entry and exit points at the location, verify credentials and/or authorization for employees and approved guests, and help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Document visitor activity, deliveries, and/or incidents, maintain accurate access logs, and communicate unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and emergency response protocols for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, observing for security-related issues, damaged access points, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
