Requirements

  • Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, identification checks, and entry and exit documentation at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor access points, credentials, visitor logs, and delivery activity to help support authorized movement of people, vehicles, and materials throughout the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns, policy violations, and emergency situations to site contacts and/or local responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry areas, gate locations, and perimeter zones to help identify unauthorized activity, equipment concerns, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
  • Communicate clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding daily operations, shift activity, and security-related incidents while following post orders and location policies.
