As a Security Officer Driver Alarm Panel Monitoring in Redford, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at an automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an automotive manufacturing or distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, parking areas, access points, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic, verifying authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and unusual observations in clear, accurate reports.
