As a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Panel Monitoring in LINCOLN, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, medical-related disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and information, and help maintain orderly movement throughout the facility.
  • Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
