Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, loading and receiving areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic operational areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations within the location.
• Document daily activities, unusual incidents, and/or maintenance or security-related issues, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
