Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor assigned areas, conduct screening activities, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or selected items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting findings to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around operational areas and perimeter locations, remaining aware of changing conditions within shipping, loading, and warehouse environments.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and help to deter unauthorized activity, loss concerns, and/or policy violations through visible presence and consistent screening practices.
