Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with site protocols.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Document access activity, visitor information, and security-related incidents with accuracy and professionalism, following post orders and reporting guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with attention to access points, restricted areas, and other security-related concerns.
