About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Specialist in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Professional in a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, document incidents, and support timely responses to security-related needs. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial property location.
  • Monitor communication channels, receive calls for service, and dispatch field personnel to incidents, maintenance issues, and/or priority situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document incidents, service requests, and daily activity in dispatch logs and reporting systems, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and/or responding personnel.
  • Support access control and after-hours activity by verifying authorized entry requests, coordinating visitor or vendor notifications, and relaying relevant information to on-site staff.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, while supporting dispatch operations across changing conditions at the location.
