About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Specialist in Leawood, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor radio traffic, phone calls, alarms, cameras, and/or building systems to receive and relay information for incidents, service requests, and routine activity.
• Dispatch officers and/or appropriate personnel to reported incidents, access concerns, maintenance issues, and other security-related situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Document incidents, visitor activity, property concerns, and communications in logs and reports with clear, timely, and accurate details.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining awareness of building operations, coordinating responses with site personnel, and reporting unusual conditions or critical situations promptly.
