About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Operator Clearance Required in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

  • An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and emergency communication activities within a defense-related location.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, radio traffic, and incoming calls, and dispatch appropriate personnel to reported incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain detailed logs, incident records, and shift activity reports, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and/or emergency contacts as needed.
  • Coordinate responses to after-hours issues, facility access requests, and operational concerns while following established post orders and security-related procedures.
  • Support regular and random patrol activities by tracking officer status, relaying information, and helping to deter unauthorized activity through prompt communication and documentation.
