Requirements

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor radios, phones, alarms, and other communication systems from the dispatch post, receive incident information, and relay details to onsite personnel, building contacts, and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting key details and helping coordinate the proper security-related response.
  • Track routine activities, service requests, and/or after-hours access communications, maintaining accurate logs, reports, and dispatch records for the property.
  • Support regular and random patrol operations by dispatching personnel to interior and exterior areas of the property, monitoring status updates, and helping address changing conditions around the business and perimeter.
