About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Operator in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor communications, coordinate security-related activity, document incidents, and help maintain organized response efforts. Requirements

• Possess 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be 21 or more years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor radios, phones, alarms, cameras, and/or other communication systems, and relay information to appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Document incidents, service calls, and unusual activity, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and dispatch records for the location.
• Coordinate routine and urgent requests for assistance by prioritizing calls, assigning resources, and communicating updates to on-site teams and/or leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, while supporting security-related operations within a dynamic aerospace and defense location.
