About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Operator in Montgomery, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will coordinate security-related communications, monitor activity and alarms, dispatch personnel, document incidents, and provide professional service to tenants and visitors. Requirements

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor incoming calls, radio traffic, alarm notifications, and other communications; dispatch officers and/or appropriate personnel to incidents, service requests, and critical situations.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, visitor information, and other required documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor security-related systems and coordinate regular and random patrol activity around the property and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
