About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Incident Routing in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a financial institution location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, and support timely responses to security-related incidents. You will help maintain a welcoming environment through professional customer service, clear communication, and teamwork. Requirements

  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor dispatch communications, receive calls for service, prioritize requests, and coordinate the response of on-site personnel to routine incidents and critical situations.
  • Maintain accurate logs of calls, incidents, personnel activity, alarm notifications, and other dispatch-related records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with personnel, management, emergency responders, and other authorized contacts while responding to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Monitor security-related systems, such as alarms, cameras, access-control notifications, and communication equipment, and report unusual activity or equipment concerns to appropriate personnel.
