As a Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator in Groveport, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional at a utilities location, where you will monitor assigned areas and support security-related operations through communication, coordination, and routine observation. Requirements

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (or GED)
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utility location.
  • Monitor communication systems, receive calls and incident reports, and dispatch personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner based on site needs and established protocols.
  • Document routine activity, incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical events with clear and accurate written and electronic reports.
  • Coordinate with site contacts, visitors, employees, and/or emergency responders to support access control activities and timely response to security-related concerns.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as required by the location, noting unusual conditions and reporting them through proper channels.
