About The Position

Requirements

  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, and camera systems from a dispatch post, receive and prioritize calls for service, and communicate timely updates to on-site personnel and management.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and helping to coordinate communication with property contacts, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, including tracking officer status, key events, and follow-up information throughout the shift.
  • Conduct regular and random patrol coordination around the business and perimeter by directing field personnel to areas of concern and helping to identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance-related issues.
