About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator in Athens, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, communication protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities for an industrial location.
Monitor phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and other dispatch systems to receive calls for service, prioritize incidents, and coordinate responses in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Document incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related activity in dispatch logs, reports, and electronic systems with clear and timely updates.
Communicate with site personnel, supervisors, and/or first responders regarding emergencies, medical calls, operational disruptions, and other critical situations requiring dispatch support.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, while helping to identify unusual activity, access issues, and other security-related concerns in a manufacturing environment.
