About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator in Athens, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, communication protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities for an industrial location.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and other dispatch systems to receive calls for service, prioritize incidents, and coordinate responses in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related activity in dispatch logs, reports, and electronic systems with clear and timely updates.
  • Communicate with site personnel, supervisors, and/or first responders regarding emergencies, medical calls, operational disruptions, and other critical situations requiring dispatch support.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, while helping to identify unusual activity, access issues, and other security-related concerns in a manufacturing environment.
