Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a college degree.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, monitoring communications, and supporting security-related operations at a government location.
  • Receive, prioritize, and dispatch routine and emergency calls for service in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining clear radio, phone, and/or computer communications.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other communication systems, document incidents and activity logs, and relay critical information to site personnel and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Coordinate responses to incidents, disturbances, and other critical situations by gathering details, tracking unit status, and helping to direct resources based on current conditions.
  • Conduct regular and random patrol support functions such as checking officer status, maintaining situational awareness of the location and perimeter, and reporting unusual activity according to site policies.
