About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Console in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor communication systems, receive and relay routine and urgent information, and dispatch officers or appropriate personnel to incidents, alarms, and/or service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document incidents, calls for service, and shift activity in logs and reports, helping to support accurate communication and continuity of operations.
  • Coordinate access-related communications for deliveries, contractors, employees, and/or visitors while following site protocols and reporting unusual activity to site leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, noting potential concerns and helping to deter unauthorized activity in varied working environments and conditions.
