In this role, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, document incidents, and help respond to alarms and access control needs while providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and/or other communication systems to receive calls for service, relay information, and coordinate the appropriate response to incidents and routine requests.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details, notifying site contacts, and communicating updates to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, activity records, and/or visitor or delivery information in support of security-related operations and site procedures.
  • Support access control, traffic flow, and/or vehicle entry activity by verifying information, providing directions, and communicating with site personnel to help to deter unauthorized activity.
