As a Security Officer Dispatch Communications in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. In this role, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, document incidents, and help respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, communication protocols, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and/or other communication systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and dispatch personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents, critical situations, and/or service requests by gathering key details, prioritizing communications, and relaying information to site personnel, first responders, and/or management as needed.
  • Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and other records related to alarms, access activity, and/or security-related events in accordance with site policies.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity by monitoring building access points, reviewing reported concerns, and coordinating timely follow-up with on-site personnel and/or supervisors.
