Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers at a chemical and petrochemical location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor and coordinate dispatch communications, including receiving calls, documenting requests, relaying information to appropriate personnel, and maintaining accurate activity logs.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate relevant details to site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
  • Monitor access activity, visitor and contractor entry, and vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures and applicable hazardous-materials protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
