As a Security Officer Dispatch Communications Driver in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatcher at a financial institution, you will coordinate communications, monitor security-related activity, and support timely responses to incidents and requests. You will help maintain a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service, clear communication, and teamwork. Requirements

  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, cameras, and/or incoming calls; document and relay information to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate the dispatch of security-related personnel in response to incidents, service requests, alarms, and critical situations while remaining calm and problem-solving focused.
  • Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift activity records in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
